Saint Abo of Tiflis (c. 756–786) is a revered Christian martyr and the patron saint of Tbilisi, Georgia. Originally an Arab Muslim, Abo converted to Christianity after being deeply influenced by the faith while living in Georgia. His conversion led to his arrest and eventual execution for refusing to renounce his new faith. Despite facing persecution, Abo remained steadfast, inspiring many with his courage and devotion. His feast day is celebrated on January 8 in the Orthodox Church.
